2. Colour

Navy and blue carry the brand; the two signal colours are for emphasis only and never for large areas. Text must always meet WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1).

4. Voice & tone

Plain, never dumbed down

Explain acronyms the first time (IGF, ICANN, DNS). A 14-year-old should follow it; an ambassador should still respect it.

Youth-led, first person plural

“We”, not “the organisation”. Young people are the authors here, not the audience being spoken about.

Neutral and multistakeholder

We describe positions and processes; we do not campaign against governments, companies or individuals.

Safety-aware

No pressure tactics, no personal data in public copy, and always a route to a parent, guardian or teacher.

Boilerplate — copy as is

Teen IGF is a youth-led, non-commercial forum that brings teenagers into internet governance — the decisions that shape how the internet is run. Through events, guides and ambassador programmes we help young people understand digital rights, online safety and emerging technology, and take that understanding into rooms where policy is made.

5. Do & don’t

Do
  • Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the “T” on all sides.
  • Place the logo on white, Sky Wash or Navy only.
  • Use Manrope for everything — headings at 700–800, body at 400–500.
  • Write “Teen IGF” with a space, both words capitalised. The wordmark is set as “TEEN IGF”.
  • Use sentence case for buttons and navigation labels.
  • Describe us as a youth-led, non-commercial forum on internet governance.
Don’t
  • Do not stretch, rotate, recolour or add effects to the logo.
  • Do not place the logo on busy photography or mid-tone colour.
  • Do not use gradients as backgrounds for text-heavy sections.
  • Do not write “TeenIGF”, “Teen-IGF” or “teen igf” in body copy.
  • Do not imply endorsement by ICANN, ISOC, the IGF or any partner.
  • Do not use the brand for commercial promotion or fundraising without written consent.

6. Permission & assets

The Teen IGF name and logo belong to Teen IGF. Chapters, school clubs, ambassadors and partners may use them for activities we have approved in writing. Everyone else needs permission first.

  • Press and media may use the logo unmodified when reporting on us.
  • Co-branded materials must be shared with us before publication.
  • Merchandise, paid promotion and fundraising always require written consent.
  • We may ask for changes or withdrawal if usage misrepresents the forum.
